Anndi has spent the past year writing and developing the first academic, university level class about the voiceover industry tentatively titled "Introduction to Voiceover." She has combined her academic background in communication studies/rhetoric with her experience as a voice over artist of nearly 20 years to create a class that helps students become aware of the cultural affect and implications created by an industry that centers around the control and manipulation of the voice. She will be teaching it at California State University, Northridge in the Fall of 2009. Her hope is to eventually bring the class to other southern California universities.
